Sunshine Health, a Medicaid managed care organization in Florida and wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation, has earned the designation of being “Trauma Aware” in partnership with Florida State University’s (FSU) new Organizational Certification in Trauma and Resilience.
Florida State University has named Angi Yoder-Maina as the inaugural director of the Trauma and Resilience Collaborative. The collaborative was founded in 2022 to identify, harness and promote the university’s expertise in trauma and resilience and further position FSU as a leader in the field.
Florida State University announced this week that health insurance agency Simply Healthcare Plans is the first organization to complete its new “Trauma Aware” organizational certification program.
