The Journey to STAR Certification
Phase 1: Planning and Assessment
- Develop a detailed training timeline
- Assess resource requirements, especially who at the organization will be the point person(s) to communicate with the team
- Create implementation strategy
Phase 2: Training Implementation
- Complete 20-hour professional certification for 10% of the team, the STAR Champions
- Roll out 3-hour foundational training to up to 90% of your staff
- Track progress and maintain momentum with weekly tracking reports from FSU
Phase 3: Integration
- Apply evidence-based practices to enhance organizational policies and procedures
- Contribute to groundbreaking FSU research on trauma's impact across organizations, families, and institutions
- Document and evaluate your organization's transformation journey
- Achieve formal STAR Certification
Phase 4: Sustainability
